About Teen Challenge

Living with Controlling issues needs a Special Program 

Heart of America Teen Challenge of Greater Kansas City is a Christ centered, Bible based, discipleship program, reaching out to those with life controlling problems. The ministry focuses on evangelism and intensive discipleship, bringing the person from living with drugs, alcohol, etc. to a place of living free in Jesus Christ.  Teen Challenge has a proven 50 year track record of success.

Hands That Deliver

Although we offer the adult program, we take in students who are 16 & 17 years of age. Our program is structured to offer 24 hour supervision & care in a loving environment. To graduate, a student must complete a full year of intensive residential Christian discipleship. Our goal is to see the Student mature as a Christian man so he can live free of prior Life-controlling issues and that he may contribute back to society with a good work ethic, being physically, mentally, and spiritually grounded.

How Do I Get Someone into Teen Challenge?

1. Make Sure that the person you want to help wants help. We cannot take anyone against their will.
2. Download our Application Packet.
3. Review the Application Packet with the potential student. Write down any questions you may have.
4. Fill out Application Packet and mail it back to the HOATC office.
5. Make arrangements to get the required blood tests.
